Be Courageous: It's Not About Comfort, It's About Calling

The Force to Go All In for My Business

There's a moment in every entrepreneur's journey when you reach a crossroads. You're standing at the edge of comfort, looking into the unknown, and you have to make a choice: stay safe or take the leap.

For me, that moment came when I was let go in March 2025.

The Prayer That Changed Everything

At the beginning of the year, I did something that would alter the course of my life. I prayed. Not a casual prayer, but a real conversation with God where I asked Him to show me the truth about my job. "If this position is for me, let me stay," I said. "If not, give me the courage to put in my two weeks notice."

This prayer was rooted in faith. The kind of faith found in Joshua 1:9—"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." I needed to hear those words. I needed to know that whatever came next, God would be with me.

Looking back, I can see the signs were everywhere. For months, things felt different. The spark dimmed. The purpose faded. But I kept showing up. I did what was asked of me, clocking in day after day, hoping things would shift. They didn't.

Then came the day I was let go.

From Fired to Freed

Here's what I didn't expect: being fired would feel like freedom.

Since that moment, I've been working full-time for myself, and honestly? Things have been amazing. But—and this is important—entrepreneurship is not for the weak. Let me be real with you about what this journey actually looks like.

Some months, the sales come in strong and everything feels possible. You're winning. You're on top of the world. You're planning your next move, scaling your business, dreaming bigger.

Then other months? The opposite happens. Sales dip. The momentum stalls. You wake up asking yourself if this was a mistake. The doubt creeps in. That little voice whispers, "Maybe you should just get a regular job again."

The Ups and Downs Are Real

I want to be honest with you: there are days when entrepreneurship is hard. Really hard. Days when you're exhausted, when the numbers don't add up, when you feel like giving up. Days when you have to choose between staying or quitting.

You can't quit.

Not because you're chained to this business, but because you know something deeper. You have a vision. You have a mission. You're being obedient to what God has called you to do. That purpose is bigger than the paycheck. It's bigger than the bad months. It's bigger than the fear.

The Consistency Will Pay Off

Here's what I've learned: consistency compounds. Every day you show up—even on the hard days, especially on the hard days—you're building something real. You're proving to yourself that you mean what you said about your dreams. You're proving it to God. You're proving it to the people around you who are watching to see if you'll actually do it.

One day, you'll look back and say, "Wow. Look how far I've come."

You'll see the person you were on the hard days, scared and uncertain, and you'll be amazed at the person you became. You'll see the consistency paying off in ways you couldn't have imagined when you were in the middle of the struggle.

Sometimes God Has to Move You

Here's the truth that changed my perspective: Sometimes God has to remove you from a comfortable situation and place you in an uncomfortable one. That's not punishment. That's love. That's Him making space for what He actually wants for your life.

My comfortable job was actually uncomfortable—it just took me months to feel it. It didn't serve my purpose. It wasn't aligned with God's plan for me. So He moved me. He made me uncomfortable so I could find my real calling.

If you're in that uncomfortable place right now, here's my message to you:

Trust God. Follow His will for your life. Be Courageous.

What "Be Courageous" Means

Being courageous doesn't mean you're not afraid. It means you feel the fear and do it anyway. It means you trust that God has a plan, even when the plan looks messy from where you're standing. It means you believe that your obedience to His calling is more important than your comfort.

That's what "Be Courageous" is all about. It's not just a phrase—it's a lifestyle. It's a choice you make every single day to believe in your vision, to pursue your mission, and to walk in faith.

If you're ready to take that step. If you're ready to answer the call on your life. If you're ready to be courageous in your own journey, then I want to support you.
