Be Courageous, Girl—Here’s My Story

Hey Be Courageous Family,

I wanted to take a moment to be transparent with you all. Yesterday, March 25, I got up, got dressed for work, and decided to wear my “Be Courageous, Girl” shirt with a cute skirt to match—just a normal day, or so I thought. Little did I know what was about to unfold.

I got to work, started my day as usual, focusing on my tasks and the project I was preparing to launch this Friday. But by the second hour of my shift, I was called into an office, and as you can probably guess, I was let go from my job. Honestly, I felt it coming, especially after my prayer time with God that morning. I had asked God to do what He needed to with my job, and I had prayed a bold prayer at the start of the year asking Him to remove me if it was time, but to allow me to give my two weeks' notice. Well, I guess I was moving a little slow, and He took care of it for me. But let me tell you, I was still in shock.

The environment at work had been changing, and people were acting differently around me, but deep down, I knew that God had something better for me. My time there was only for 7 months, but as always, God has a plan.

Now, I didn’t realize how much I needed my “Be Courageous, Girl” shirt until that moment. It wasn’t just a cute shirt I threw on—it was a reminder. It was an affirmation. When I say this brand is more than just a t-shirt line, I mean it. It’s a tool to help us remember how courageous we truly are.

I am beyond grateful for everyone who has supported Be Courageous by Jasmine Renee. Please, don’t just wear this shirt because it’s cute. Wear it because it’s a reminder that you are courageous, you are capable, and you have the strength to face whatever comes your way.

So, what’s next for me? I’m trusting God. I’m going to pursue my dreams, and I can’t wait to share what’s in store with you all soon. Be Courageous will continue to grow, and I’m pushing it to the fullest.
